Adoption and surrogacy assistance
Adopting or having a child via surrogate is a rewarding and life-changing experience. At the same time, it can be an expensive and time-consuming process. Liberty Mutual helps employees offset these costs through its adoption and surrogacy assistance programs, which include resource and referral services available through the Work Life Solutions Plan (EAP).
How it works
Through these programs, employees may receive financial reimbursement up to $20,000 per child for adoption-related expenses and up to $20,000 for surrogacy-related expenses ($40,000 combined lifetime limit).
U.S. employees regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours or more per week as of the adoption finalization date or birth of a child via surrogate are eligible.
